Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a quiet adventure game that trusts you to explore at your own pace. You wander a foggy village, talk to its handful of residents, and slowly untangle what happened before you arrived. There are no fail states, just discovery.

The puzzles lean toward observation rather than logic gymnastics, which I found relaxing. Tapping around the hand-painted scenes is a pleasure, and the ambient sound design pulls you in even on headphones in a noisy place.

It's short and self-contained, runs entirely offline, and leaves a nice aftertaste. A lovely thing to play before bed.
