About

OfflinePocket started as a shared note between two friends who kept losing progress on games the moment the subway dipped underground. We got tired of titles that call themselves "offline" but freeze on a loading screen the second you lose bars. So we began keeping a proper list.

Everything here is played by a real person before a word gets written. We install the game, turn airplane mode on, and see what actually works. If a feature needs the internet, we say so. If the game nags you to reconnect, that goes in the review too.

We pick titles across genres — role-playing, strategy, racing, puzzles, simulators. No single category dominates, because a good offline library should cover a boring flight and a five-minute wait at the dentist equally well.

There's no publisher paying our bills and no studio telling us what to score. We buy or download the games ourselves, play them for hours, and write what we think.
