Ironhold Tactics

★★★★★ 4.5 Editor rating

Ironhold Tactics puts you in charge of a single fortress and asks you to survive wave after wave with whatever you can scrounge. It's part tower placement, part resource juggling, and it gets genuinely tense once supplies run low.

The pacing suits a phone well — you can take as long as you want between decisions, so it never pressures you. I appreciated that the difficulty curve is honest. Early levels teach you the ropes, and by the harder maps you're truly rationing every stone and soldier.

Maps are varied enough to keep each run feeling distinct, and the whole thing works offline with no catch. A solid pick if you like chewing on a puzzle-style challenge.
